ITINERARIES
We have two types of itineraries as mention below, click on each to see the details:-
Please Note:
1. The itinerary can be tailor-made to suit the time, interest and travel budget of the client. More or less days can be applied to include or exclude some destinations or tour activities. Just mention it and we prepare it for you.
2. The days allocated indicate the time spent at the designated tour places only, therefore, do not include travel or transfer time.
3. To protect the animals, birds and visitors, you must follow the instructions and rules as given by your tour guide.
4. The client is advised to carry his/her own equipment to use such as binoculars, jungle boots, cameras, insect repellants,telescopes, and rain coats
5. Prices are quoted in foreign currencies like US Dollars, Pounds and Euros. At the time of booking, the client(s) will need to pay for all gorilla permits needed in full and a deposit of not less than 50% of the total safari cost.
6. The prices for car hire include; Tour guide/ driver’s allowance, and wear and tear or repair charges only.
7. Fuel charges depend on the various distances to be traveled. Therefore where it is an all-inclusive tour package, fuel is included but in cases where the client wants to hire a car only, the fuel charges will be met by him/her.
8. The rates will have a 10% increase for handling
9. The client is advised to carry Dollar bills of the year 2000 and above, as those of 1999 and below are under-rated in the foreign exchange market.
Prices quoted for the whole (an all-inclusive) tour package include:
- A safari car for the itinerary stated,
- All current government Taxes relevant to the itinerary (Uganda only)
- Vehicle insurance
- Bottled water en route,
- All entry fees/ permits for protected areas, national parks, conservation fees and reserve fees relevant to this itinerary
- Trained English speaking driver/ tour guide
- Backup and logistical support from Eco-Specialists Staff.
- Return transfers to/from the airport (if desired),
- All per diems and handling fees
- Full board accommodation, unless otherwise stated.
- Porters’ fees
EXCLUDED
- International air flights (unless otherwise stated)
- Alterations to this itinerary
- Entry visas
- Airport departure taxes (unless stated)
- Tips
- Laundry
- Beverages (except those in your personal safari vehicle)
- Hospital bills/ treatment costs and international evacuation in the event of an emergency
- Airport taxes,
- Travel insurance,
- Telephone calls.
- For single rooms, the supplement (SRS) has to be paid.
- Activities such as mountain climbing, sport fishing and other specialised activities will attract an extra charge where not stated.
Flights
Eco-Specialists Tours will advise on the most appropriate airlines to use when flying to and out of Uganda.
Safaris start and end either in Entebbe Airport or Kampala City. For those intending to get into Uganda through other entry points like Busia and Malaba from Kenya, Katuna from Rwanda, or Mutukula from Tanzania, Eco-Specialists Tours can organize an itinerary for you.
