Mountaineering is very common here and one can organize for a shorter foothill hike for 3 days but 6-7 days are required for a usual mountain loop. |

| ES 19 | Three- Five Days | Birding Kidepo Valley National Park located in the Kotido-Karamoja Province for a minimum of four days to make it worthwhile, concentrating on the dry Kidepo Valley and the granite outcrops like near Katenga in search for around 475 species, some of which are endemic like the Karamoja Apalis.Birding Moroto and the surrounding areas to see most of the northeastern “specials” totaling to 225 species, especially the Fox’s Weaver. This birding trip will give you a chance to watch birds around Soroti, Mountains Kadam and Morungole. |
